Auctions
This method of sale enables vendors to get the best of both worlds
when selling their property as it allows the property to be sold
by public auction or alternatively to have the flexibly of accepting
an offer on the property before it goes to auction. The agent will
advise his client as to whether he believes that, given the amount
of interest shown in the property, it is best to accept an offer
before the auction or let the property go to auction. This method
of sale is normally advised for properties that are unique, have
land or in need of considerable refurbishment.

The traditional property, which auctioneers encourage vendors
to sell by auction, is one where the lot is so unique that the
auctioneers
expect an exceptional demand and the final valuation is difficult
to judge. However, many sellers find auctions a quick and successful
method of selling almost any type of property. We can of course
advertise the property for sale by auction unless sold prior
to
the auction.
